trabecular volumetric density(English)
- measures the density of the inner, sponge-like bone tissue (trabecular bone) in three dimensions, typically expressed in (mg/cm^3). Unlike standard DXA scans, which provide a 2D areal density, TrD is measured using (high-resolution) Quantitative Computed Tomography (QCT)
