• a self-report instrument developed by C. Robert Cloninger and colleagues in the late 1980s. It was designed to measure three inherited, independent dimensions of temperament based on Cloninger’s psychobiological model of personality. The TPQ was a foundational tool used to explore the genetic and neurobiological basis of personality traits, particularly their relation to psychiatric disorders
