COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments(English)

• an initiative of an international multidisciplinary team of researchers who aim to improve the selection of outcome measurement instruments both in research and in clinical practice by developing tools for selecting the most appropriate available instrument. One problem to solve is that in systematic reviews of clinical trials the results reported cannot be compared and statistically pooled when different instruments are used to measure the same construct of interest in each study
