There are multiple definitions:
computerized axial tomography(English)
chloramphenicol acetyltransferase(English)
computer adaptive testing(English)
- a method of questionnaire administration in which a computer algorithm iteratively selects questions based on previous answers. Questionnaires that are completed by this method dramatically decrease the burden for patients to complete questionnaires and improve precision

cationic amino-acid transporter(English)
- this protein is amongst the first identified on the molecular level and seems to be the major entry path for cationic amino-acids in most cells. Also mediates efflux of substrates and thus may also deplete cells from cationic amino-acids under certain circumstances. These proteins form a subfamily of the solute carrier family 7 (SLC7) that consists of four confirmed transport proteins for cationic amino-acids. The expression is highly regulated on the level of transcription, mRNA stability, translation and subcellular localization

cancer-associated thrombosis(English)
- active malignancy increases the risk of developing venous thromboembolism (VTE) by four- to seven-fold. The risk of VTE, including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), in patients with cancer varies based on several clinical factors, such as cancer stage and age. However, race and ethnicity are also associated with increased VTE risk

choline acetyltransferase(English)
- commonly abbreviated as ChAT, but sometimes as CAT, is a transferase enzyme responsible for the synthesis of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. ChAT catalyzes the transfer of an acetyl group from the coenzyme acetyl-CoA to choline, yielding acetylcholine
