It is a cartoon measure, designed for children 6 to16 years-old, using an analogue scale for respondents to indicate how often they have witnessed violent events ranging from mild [yell, push, spanking] to severe [threaten with a weapon, shoot, stab], as the cartoon protagonist “Chris” experiences. Scores range from 0 to 66
