Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System(English)

  • implemented in 1987, an ongoing state-based surveillance system of maternal behaviors, attitudes, and experiences before, during, and shortly after pregnancy, conducted by the CDC and Prevention’s Division of Reproductive Health in collaboration with state health departments. Continues to be a comprehensive source of perinatal data and has proven an effective system for addressing emerging issues affecting the health of mothers and babies
