paradoxical low-flow, low-gradient aortic stenosis(English)

• refers to patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) based on a tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion (TAPSE) <18 mm and/or a fractional area change (FAC) ≤35% in pre-procedural transthoracic echocardiography (TTE). RVD was common and associated with a significantly higher all-cause mortality after TAVI. Also denoted as pLFLG-AS
