hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(English)
- while serial assessments of LVEF are required for determining dose selection for patients on mavacamten, imaging patients with HCM is challenging because of abnormal contours of the LV, sometimes massive hypertrophy, and complex Doppler morphologies. For these patients automated assessments of LV size and LVEF differ significantly from standard assessments, raising concerns about the use of this ML-enabled LVEF software for this patient population and potential application to guiding CMI treatments
