whole brain radiotherapy(English)
- traditionally considered the standard treatment for patients with (multiple) cerebral metastases. Based on the results of multiple earlier RTOG trials, it is established that patient survival is prolonged from 1 to 2 months, with supportive care alone to 3-6 months, with a standard regime of 30 Gy delivered in 10 fractions
