super relaxed state(English)
- an autoinhibited state of muscle myosin showing very slow adenosine triphosphate turnover kinetics, while uninhibited myosin in the “disordered relaxed state” has a much faster adenosine triphosphate turnover rate. Myosins in the disordered relaxed state can generate force in the presence of calcium, whereas myosins in the SRX cannot. Thus, the fraction of myosins in the SRX is a critical determinant of force generation, and this can be dynamically modulated
