internal health locus of control(English)
- reflects the internal part of perceived control and refers to the individual’s tendency to believe that health outcomes are principally due to the individual’s own behavior and within their own control. In contrast, Powerful others Locus of Control (PHLC) and Chance Locus of Control (CHLC) reflect the external parts of perceived control and they refer to the individual’s tendency to believe that health outcomes are principally due to either other people or chance factors
