direct percutaneous jejunostomy(English)
- An enteroscope is advanced to the small bowel until a safe site is confirmed with transillumination and finger indentation. A needle is punctured from the skin into the small bowel under endoscopic visualization and is then stabilized with snare, and the jejunum is then anchored to the abdominal wall. A larger trocar is passed next to the needle, when the initial smaller needle is released, and the snare is free to stabilize the larger trocar
