AQS

There are multiple definitions:

  1. attachment Q-set(English)

    • proposed as an economic alternative to Ainsworth’s observational methodology, one that allows for efficient descriptions of secure base behavior in infants and children, and affords more analytical alternatives. The AQS allows researchers to describe the functioning of the attachment behavior control system. In brief, it assesses how characteristic secure base behavior is during infant/child–caregiver interactions. The AQS can be used with children aged between 1 and 5 years
