“aggressive periodontitis”(English)

• term introduced by the AAP to define a group of destructive periodontal diseases with a rapid progression. This definition was used to include previous terminologies of early-onset periodontitis, juvenile periodontitis, and rapidly progressive periodontitis, using “aggressive” nomenclature
