systemic cardiac sarcoidosis(English)

• a non-caseating granulomatous disease of uncertain etiology, characterized by the involvement of multiple organs, including the heart. The estimated prevalence of cardiac sarcoidosis is currently 5–10% of systemic sarcoidosis, and these patients are at a high risk for life-threatening arrhythmia, heart failure, or sudden cardiac death
