- a second generation of ACI whereby cells are embedded into a bioabsorbable matrix. This membrane is placed over the talar cartilage defect. This procedure avoids periosteal graft harvesting and allows for a more even cell distribution. A reliable option for treatment of symptomatic cartilage defects
