• animal model relying on the Pdx1-Cre transgenic strain to generate pancreas-specific mutations in Kras and p53, genes that are mutated with high frequency in human pancreatic cancers. In order to track pancreatic epithelial cells during tumor progression, a RosaYFP allele into the mutant background is introduced, resulting in highly specific and efficient (>95%) labeling).
