Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale(English)

  • one of the most widely-used instruments enabling the clinician to quickly gather information about the possible presence and severity of various psychiatric symptoms. It exists in various forms, varying in the number and type of symptoms assessed, clarity of anchor point definitions, and administration and rating instructions. The original had a 16-item scale. The newer 24-item scale (version 4.0) enables the rater to measure psychopathology severity, especially in the psychosis spectrum
